Research

  • Research is deeply embedded within the clinical program of the Children's Cancer Centre (CCC). The CCC and the Murdoch Children's Research Cancer Flagship manage all of the research related to cancer and related haematological malignancies.

The CCC's success in research spans participation in clinical trials for a range of diseases and trial phases, investigator-initiated projects in pharmacogenomics, fundamental oncology biology, quality of life and neuropsychology research. The involvement of research in this space has enabled a significant change in the way that patients are treated and has improved outcomes in survival and quality of life.
